- 1 Full Time and 1 PT role available- immediate start
- High level of autonomy and supportive team
- Launceston with a flexible roster and some Sundays
If you are looking to enjoy an amazing lifestyle, with a flexible roster, this role is for you!
Enjoy taking in a pivotal role in a beautiful, large country town, while being supported by a highly experienced pharmacy group. My client has owned these two retail pharmacy businesses for some time, and has built up strong relationships with the local community. They are currently hoping to find some additional pharmacists who can settle into the relaxing lifestyle and enjoy what this wonderful community has to offer. These pharmacies are part of a well-established group that has the advantage of being forward thinking, with a key focus on their employees, and developing a learning culture that everyone can be proud of, and enjoy working in. In fact the business is so serious about this, that they have totally re-designed their back end processes. Setting up their pharmacies in order to allow their pharmacists to perform their roles in the easiest way possible by removing additional and unnecessary administration, and designing IT solutions to support the Pharmacists. Allowing you to focus on your patient’s needs.
If you are also looking to increase your skills, ongoing training and support is available, the group values its people and wants to make sure your needs are met. So if this appeals to you they will also provide you support to do so. You will even have the ability to make your weekend rosters flexible so you can have some Sundays to yourself to enjoy the surrounding townships, wineries, fishing and water sports. The main site you will be based at is Kings Meadows, however you may also be given the opportunity to work in the other Launceston pharmacy on occasions. Most often you will be the sole pharmacist, supported by an established community focused team.
If you are newly qualified, you are encouraged to also apply, as there will be provisions made for training and support. Make no mistake this is a very enjoyable lifestyle role, but you will be expected to have superior customer service skills.
You will need to be able to show;
- The motivation and ability to provide a community pharmacy environment to customers and staff
- Ability to drive professional services- including certification to conduct an in pharmacy vaccination program
- Positive and forward thinking staff management
- Experience working with medical centers and nursing homes would be a bonus
If you are looking for a new challenge, and enjoy working with a high level of autonomy whilst being part of great community environment you will really enjoy this role.
Pharmacists from New Zealand are encouraged to apply, and will be supported to relocate to Australia.
Only qualified Pharmacists who are able to work in Australia/NZ need apply.
In line with the State Health Department requirements proof of having received an approved Covid-19 Vaccine by October 31 2021 must be provided.
This role will be a rewarding one, in which you can have an amazing lifestyle while still being supported by an established and successful business.
